Our Hut On The Web

Talofa! We are a family of five (for now) who are very loud, friendly, and happy people. We love the Lord and have dedicated our lives to serve Him. Athena and I come from the beautiful island of American Samoa. We became Christians while living in Honolulu Hawaii at the Honolulu Church of Christ.  We got married on June 19, 2010, and we thank God for his guidance and for saving our marriage. We believe that the Bible is the only source by which God communicates His will to man today (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

We welcome you to our hut on the web. “Hut on the web?” We decided on this name because of our background as islanders from the Pacific Ocean. Our ancestors prior to the influence of western advancements were a people of nature. They lived in huts (faleo’o) which they made with tree branches, leaves, and different fibers. The land and ocean were our main resources for living. Where ever we go we carry with us our strong culture of love (alofa) and respect (fa’aaloalo) for others. We call this the Samoan Way (faa Samoa).

Our goal with this website is to lead people to the gospel of Christ (Mark 16:15-16). We want to encourage Christians to remain faithful to God and to win souls to Christ by pointing to the only book that is left to man as the guide for life, the Bible. God wants us to know him, and to know the answers to the most important questions: Where did we come from? What must we do? Where are we going after we die? We are happy to help you in any way we can in answering those questions.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32 KJV)
